I crossed early but never heard a horn — am I OCS, or can I get redress?
An individual recall needs both the visual signal (flag X) and a sound signal. If the race committee forgets the horn and a recalled boat genuinely doesn't know she was over, she's entitled to redress under Rule 61.4. But a boat who knows she crossed early must go back regardless — keeping a start you know you stole breaks Rule 2, Fair Sailing. (The "absence of a sound signal shall be disregarded" line in Rule 26 never covers the individual recall.) World Sailing Case 31.
